According to Carl Jung, men are more emotionally intelligent than women. He thought that most women's emotions are very private and unique from one woman to the next, whereas men are more extraverted about their emotions, as well as better at looking externally at the emotions of others in order to know how to harmonize a social situation. So in other words, men use emotional intelligence in order to be con artists, and flirt with women.

Have you ever read Jung's Red Book? He promoted Turning everything that is Wrong into Right. Our world moral and social decay today can be traced back to both Jung and Freud with Rogers closing the coffin. Read his Red Book.
The book was too toxic to publish until the last 15 years. Jung died 1960, I believe and is credit with the philosophical underpinnings of the 1960 moral and social rebellion. "Peace is Love"... the Vietnam slogan was a phrase that originated from Jung post WW2.

On average? Probably. Especially in non western societies. Men are told they can't feel emotion or are shut down when they do, so they don't learn how to deal with it as well.
