I have been to Jordan once but just for a quick visit.
I went on a cruise that stopped in Aqaba and from there, I took a day's excursion to Petra. Such a wonderful place with so much history.
I also sampled some delicious Jordanian food such as Maqluba and Kunafa.
Jordan is definitely worth a longer visit. I failed to see Amman but at least I can say that I saw one of the architectural wonders of this world by visiting Petra. I believe that people have the wrong idea about this place but the Indiana Jones movie featuring Petra was certainly an excellent boost to visit Jordan.

Considered the biggest religious archeological and tourist sites. Love to see these sites rather than read about them is history books and the Bible.
