It depends actually, because a girl can give signs that she likes you but may be leading you on. I think if I was to like someone I would show it by being very caring and having a soft spot for this person and caring a lot about what they think of me, or sometimes people are the opposite for example they act rude to people they like in order to hide their true feelings
