Yes to the first part, not necessarily to the second part.
Firstly, not all guys like fragile women. Additionally, what constitutes as "fragile" differs from person to person. Also, fragility is a spectrum, and its also relative. What is not so fragile to me might be very fragile to a well-seasoned body builder.
Thankfully, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we all have varying opinions.
In that case, I wouldn't say non-fragile women are screwed. I am somewhat passionate about weak, fragile, or delicate women. But it's no deal breaker. There are many more important things like kindness, happiness, closeness (physical touch, a need for cuddling), and mutual interests.
I could certainly see myself being with, or even marrying, a non-fragile woman.
What Girls Said
You like being the dominant one in the relationship, the one who takes care of the heavy lifting and “manly” jobs in the relationship.
You are a coward, so you want to play it safe?
Yeah because real men want a woman who's just as muscular as them, or more so, because otherwise their manliness is unverified and invalid.
Right?
To feel more protective?
That's one aspect, yes. Though I might have worded it as "be" more protective, rather than feel.
Oh the weaker, the more 'protected you'd be?' So that means us less fragile looking women are screwed then.

Not to mention, nobody is, or can find, perfection. Often times, preferences aren't requirements.
I know but I'm asking about you in particular.

I'd also mention that weakness, fragility, or delicacy isn't solely physical, either. Emotional delicacy, for example, appeals to much just as much.
Appeals to me just as much*
