Tight whities, dark boxers or any other underwear are okay to wear as long as you wear something under your trousers. This is simply the basics of hygiene. It does not matter what you wear but make sure it is made of cotton or any material that can breathe and not something entirely synthetic.

Now, the term "sexy" is not relevant in your case since nobody but you sees those underwear. Just don't take them too tight because that is not healthy since you may cut or restrict blood supply by wearing textiles that are too small in size. Use something appropriate for your size.

Boxers or boxer briefs are better.. tighty whities look weird and remind me of grandpas or small boys... cuz those are the only people you see wearing them
but if you just wear them to workout no big deal.

Well I just went and had a look at guys wearing them... I guess they ain't that bad just don't wear white ones or ones that are too big lol
