Girls, Women, is 6'6 too tall for a guy?

I'm a 6'6 man and facially, I'd say I'm average.

I am white, have short brown wavy hair, a large forehead, green and blue beady eyes, a large crooked nose and I have an average body type. my fashion sense consists of black trousers, white shirts and black jackets.

I I often unintentionally intimidate and scare people, and receive scared expressions or concerned glares from people when I walk pass them downtown. Sometimes, I find the looks I get rather amusing, but it mostly makes me feel isolated and unapproachable to people.

Women also avoid me and have no interest in me, and never approach me and when they do, its only when they want something, like a lighter, the time, spare change or directions. I heard that a mans ideal height is 6'2 and 6'6 is too tall. is this true?

At first sight, to me it would be way too tall. 6'2 is already too tall for me, so let alone 6'6. But the reality is that by knowing someone better, height doesn't matter much. My ideal height would be similar to mine (average woman, so, quite short for a man), but it appears that my current partner is a 6'3. It was weird at the beginning for me, jokingly telling him he is too tall, but there is much more in a relationship than height, you know... Compatibility, relationship skills, things in common and other good qualities have definitely priority over that.
So you should put yourself in dating contexts that are not laser-focused on "first sight" appearance judgement (that is how most dating apps are built). This is artificial. I think you should put yourself in circumstances that allow the women to know you better, first. So like: colleagues in an office will be forced to know you better slowly and get past your height; some dating apps are focused on compatibility first (OKCupid for example); or simply joinig online communities around your interests, or irl communities, will definitely bring you closer to women who are most likely compatible with you or have at least something in common, and that would allow you to talk to them normally about those topics with no intention of dating, instead of starting with a dating approach already, which is much better for most.
And ignore the street, you're not going to approach women on the street randomly like that, they would think it's creepy regardless of your height so that is not the context to measure yourself with.
Lastly: some women actually like very tall guys like you. Maybe not the majority but some, at least, do for sure.

6ft is too tall in my eyes, so over that is too much. I’m under 5ft 😭 I don’t need a giant man.

My husband is 5'7, and I consider that tall, but I am only 5'2.
