Found a perfume on the night stand from the guy that I’m seeing. Who leaves a perfume bottle at a guys house and why?

I’ve been seeing this guy on and off for years now but now it is better than ever. The other night I saw a woman’s perfume on his night stand. Pink bottle black cap. I didn’t say anything but when I came back from the kitchen he had hidden it. Who leaves a perfume at a guys house and why?

He is obviously seeing more than one girl. Not sure how you haven’t figured this out yet. If it was girls perfume and not yours, it was someone else’s, right? The fact that he hid it tells me everything. He forgot to do that beforehand and then did so hoping you weren’t going to notice.

This is a big red flag for me. At least it should be. I would have walked right out and never seen him again. He is being deceitful plain and simple.

Is they really the sort of guy you want to be involved with? He is already lying and hiding things from you. This would be an instant dealbreaker if it were me.

Think about what else he might be hiding and perhaps how many other women he is seeing. Not only is he lying, he could be putting your health in jeopardy. Do you think he is getting regular sex health checkups? Are the girls he is messing around with doing that? How can you know? He will lie about it anyhow. Run away from this one.

If you are "seeing a guy", to me, it simply means that you are friends and nothing more.

Now, since you are not in a relationship with that person, he is basically free to do whatever he wants with himself and his time. If he wants to place a bottle of women's perfume on his night stand, where is the problem?

There are 2 options that come to my mind.

1. He likes the scent of that perfume and uses it on himself. Maybe you don't know him as well as you thought.

2. He had a woman over that left that bottle of perfume. That is fine since you are not in a relationship with him.

Now, if you were boyfriend/girlfriend, that would be a totally different story and you would be entitled to ask yourself some questions. Otherwise, he has a private life and he can invite people over without your consent or knowledge.
