How do you still get in trouble if you smash a girl that claimed to be 21 & looks 21, but is like 15? (Have always been curious about this)?

Non American here... North Americans looks Way older than their age ( no offence) I've seen Girls who look at least 18 but they're something like 12 and 13 bro!! Fully developed and everything and mature persona/ethics ( hate to make it sound ped). I just find the law BIZZARE That if a female lies about her age and the age she gave you matches her looks and everything and both of you agree to smash... How is the guy Jailed and stuff when it isn't HIS fault? Same goes for stolen goods that you bought unknowingly... how's it the buyers fault? Is the justice system THAT messed up?

Sexual laws don't make a whole lot of sense, and are generally predicated on the idea that men are inherently sexual aggressors, and women inherently sexually passive. Considering that the majority of the voter base is composed of people who used to BE teenage girls, this is disgustingly dishonest, but you'll never get people to admit it.

You can't expect someone who lacks a certain maturity to be mature. Therefore it falls upon the adult to do their homework and know who they are sleeping with enough to be sure of their age.

It's unfortunate when it happens and I feel bad for the guy, but do your homework and protect yourself.

How are you in a situation where you meet a 15 year old in an environment where a sexual encounter may take place? The chances of this happening are so so so slim it's stupid to worry about it. If you insist on worrying, ask to see the potential partners ID, or social media.

Wouldn't help- it doesn't matter (here in the US, at least) if they showed you an ID or not; even if they somehow got a perfectly legitimate ID through some screwup, you're STILL on the hook, for not being telepathic.
