Ladies, do y'all acknowledge a guy you see, for example in school, and are there any signs you give?

No, at school or anywhere else for that matter, I never acknowledge anyone that I don't know simply because that would potentially cause a conflict and create confusion. Unfortunately, men tend to think that you want something from them if you look at them or pay them a little too much attention. This is a big issue, mainly in my age group.

I do give a quick glance at people I come across but that is simply to know whether I do know them or if they can represent a potential danger. This glance does not last more than one second.
