Well, for starters, a body massage is supposed to be done with massage oils. How is that going to work out when you are wearing full clothing?
Also, there would be no grip. It’s your body that is supposed to be being massaged, not your clothes.

I don't see an issue with it. A massage is supposed to be a relaxing experience. I guess perhaps it's known to be better without the clothing dampening the sensation. But if it makes it comfortable and relaxing for you then it shouldn't be an issue at all.
