Just curious on what motivates girls to get them. I do think they look nice but most people don't see them so I don't know if it's worth it. How painful was it and do u go braless more now that u have them or the same amount

So I currently have mine done. I had them pierced at 18 because a guy I was seeing really liked them and thought they would look good on me. I then took them out because my insecure abusive ex didn’t like them - but after I broke up I decided to get them repierced because I felt naked without my piercings. They are apart of me and I’m very happy I now have them because I wanted them for myself

I did get them for myself! I like them honestly under shirts and they are a comfort piercing to me, absolute bonus if a guy I’m seeing likes them but I won’t take them out just because someone I’m seeing doesn’t like them in the future

I’ve wanted nipple piercings for like two years since i seen a photo of heart shaped piercings that were super cute buttttttt i don’t think going through the pain would be worth it since they have a high rejection rate and take a long time to heal (some never fully heal)
Right some are so cute. I didn't know about the rejection rate thing. My thing is that if I git them peirced I would want them to show through my short all the time. And I feel like people wouldn't like that
I get that. It would be understandable if they didn’t want them showing in the workplace, other than that other’s opinions shouldn’t matter. My main concern would be if they didn’t properly heal. I have my septum and a nostril pierced which absolutely reeked during the healing stage cause oil glands and dead skin cells. Clean them frequently but even then it didn’t take long for the smell to be present, the thought of my nipple piercings smelling like that is very off putting for me especially if I was sexually active😂
Yea that's true but u don't think the nose is more prone to that. There snot and stiff in the nose which makes me think there more likely to be infected. Plus u can't help but smell it. And yea I would wear a bra to work but I feel other then that I may be to much of a exhibitionist
regardless of where a piercing is it will stink during the healing stage but yeah the smell was definitely more prominent being in my nose

I've been in and off for a few years about whether or not to get mine done. I think they look cool. Biggest thing holding me back is the fear of losing sensation in my nipples. I've heard quite a few stories where, even with experienced piercers, girls lose some sensation.
