Girls, How open are you about bodily functions?

I was having a conversation with a friend the other day and she made the remark that it’s interesting how some people are completely shameless about going to the bathroom or farting/burping or whatever but others wanna pretend that they’ve never done it, so I guess I’m just wondering where everyone falls on the spectrum? For me I’m kind of in the middle, I don’t mind being open about that stuff among close friends but not randomly with people I’m not close with.

Eh we are all human. I don't openly discuss it like it is a good topic to discuss when there is a lull in conversation. I'd say I'm left or right of middle whichever side is the one that really doesn't bring it up but accepts that we are human and shit happens, quite literally. When I'm in a relationship yeah then obviously that sorta stuff comes out no pun intended.

Yeah that’s a good way to put it, like with people I’m close to or romantically involved with I don’t see the point in hiding it or whatever, but I’m not just gonna advertise it like it’s a new movie coming out, Y’know? Giving everyone a “I really have to pee!” Once and a while I think can be kinda funny in certain situations, but beyond that I think is a bit much outside of very close circles!

Yep. With a partner I'm not shy after a while lol. Other than that I keep my bodily habits under wraps. 😆

Mhm, I think I’m probably the same way! I think stuff as mundane as peeing really isn’t a big deal with a romantic partner, but that’s really the only line I’ll cross. I know some girls that are too shy to even admit they need to pee around their boyfriends but I think that might be getting a little too shy, like that little of a thing isn’t a big deal though I can understand where they’re coming from.

Not my last ex but the one before that it was pretty open. I live in an apartment by myself and it isn't huge. Just the one bathroom. So the girl that I was dating and I sometimes had to get ready at the same time and inevitably we are going to see each other pee. Outside that I always shut the door. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mhm that makes total sense, I had somewhat of the same thing a few years back. There was one time where I like really needed to pee when he was in the shower so I kinda just burst in and went even though he was right there, so for the rest of the relationship we didn’t see that kinda thing as a gigantic deal. Other than that, I’d rather keep the door shut as well! …But hey it’s different when you really need to go I guess lol
