Basically as the title says, is it too weird to bite a friend platonically? or is it normal? Or does being in a relationship also change the answer?
Girls, I am having an argument with some of my friends over this. Do you bite your platonic friends? or would you consider that too intimate?

I don’t, because that’s really weird and crosses the line of what’s considered platonic. If a friend did that to me, I’d smack them for invading my personal space, lol.
Not assuming this will change your opinion but let me throw together a scenario for you and see what happens. Say that there is a female that has a male best friend of a long time maybe childhood? who knows? either way, say that this female also has a boyfriend she's been with for a decent time let's say a couple of years for argument's sake.
So we have a female with a boyfriend and a male best friend, or vice versa if you wish the genders don't really matter here ig lol. But would you say that if one of the best friends bit the other it would be crossing more of a line or less of a line?
Doesn’t matter who is biting who, whether he’s biting her or she’s biting him, either way it’s WEIRD and definitely crossing a line. Especially if she has a boyfriend. If she didn’t have a boyfriend, then I would assume that she’s biting someone because she has a crush on them, or vice versa.
That is what I thought, figured i'd try and make it 100% clear for me though thanks. So you would only consider the person having a crush on the other if they weren't in a relationship and it happened correct?
I would still think that they have a crush on the person that they’re biting, regardless of whether they’re in a relationship or not.

What? It is a legitimate question. I believe personally that biting is too intimate and isn't something to do platonically. My friend that I was arguing with disagreed, I came here for opinions lol. Thanks for the input anyways, I assume you take my side then.
