Do you like goth girls?

My fiancée was an emo and is still an emo at heart, haha.
There are definitely guys out there who are into alternative girls.
One of the things that drew me to emo/goth/alternative is the dark and heavy themes and topics that were sung about in the music.
Popular upbeat pop music doesn’t really capture the darker feelings we feel like anger, pain, sadness, regret, hatred, depression, brokenness, and other dark themes that we all experience in life.
Upbeat pop music ignores that. Emo music dives right into that and brings it up to the surface.
Back in the early 2000’s, emo culture really embraced being in touch with one’s emotions, to express one’s darkest feelings through music and written words.
In more recent years, the focus seems to be more about aesthetic — which is fine and dandy too (after all, my favorite color is still black).
But what drew my fiancée and I to alternative was how it has been able to express and capture those dark emotions, feelings, and themes that we all go through in life. Some people suppress it. Others express it.
TLDR: Yeah. My fiancée and I were in that scene when we were younger. It’s one of the reasons why we understand each other. We are attuned to our darker thoughts and recognize each other’s emotional scars. We don’t run from our past. We seek to understand it, so we can empathize and support each other when storms arise.
Usually yes but not the girl in the picture sorry but not my type at all, hair too short and curly for my tastes and kinda looks like a kid. Straight Black hair at least long enough to reach the chin or neck (at least) is my type.
Thats funny because my natural hair is black and it used to be 4 ft long
I don't care one way or the other about them. I've met some and they are fine.
You call that picture Goth? Just wearing black does not make you Gothic.
Dude you literally don't know ne
Me, sorry
I'm going by the picture. You could be a Johnny Cash look though, or one of the Men in Black.

Usually we get along well. Not all goth girls are the same, but since we're generalizing:

Pros:
Fashion/style - I like the dark look, dark and slightly overdone makeup. Lots of cute outfits and into dressing up/cosplay. Easy to shop for, too; get her something black.
Sex: into bdsm kink, roleplay, toys, and sexually expressive/communicative. Sensual; candles, velvet, silk, and wine with some shibari ropes on standby.
Intelligence/intimacy: tend to be thinkers & talkers, easy to connect to and share deeper connection with. Good music tastes as well, and more into darker, alternative artists.

Cons:
Sensitivity/moodiness: sometimes seem perpetually depressed or angsty, which I get goes with the whole dark theme, but can be hard. Esp. when linked to deeper insecurity, it can be hard when you like someone and they don't like themselves.
Lack of fitness/adventure: I like a wide variety of activities, and if a goth girl is stereotypical, she might like animals and nature, but not so much the sport of it like rock climbing, sailing, backpacking, and getting out in the sun. Though I have had mixed experiences with this, some goth girls open up and are down to get out there.
The whole thing started in the nineties when I was in secondary. I never really got behind it, it just seems a way that the ugly and otherwise unattractive and unpopular justify their social position. It doesn't make you a bad person, no, but it definitely does limit your chance at actual popularity. By the time you reach mid twenties you will realize that joining a group because you are an outcast means that you are not an outcast.
I like the goth and EMO look. I think such women look super attractive... but without tattoos or piercings. I don't like that. If they just have pale skin, dark lipstick and polish, eye shadow, black clothes etc. I like that.
It depends his gothic she is I guess. If she really dark in things and seems very depressed or nothing matters I might be a little turn off bumpy her. I think a goth girl can be attractive but need to somewhat nit so dark energy
Why do you show your face in every question?
Im always sad
I am a cheerleader
personally, I'm all about embracing individuality and different styles. Whether someone's into the goth look or not, it doesn't really matter to me. What's important is getting to know the person behind the style and having a connection.
It's usually a phase. But yeah I don't mind goth girls
sure, as long as they were not into voo doo or other stuff like that.
I have friends that were. I let them be who they wanted to be. They grew out of it I guess.
Yeah, but I'll get bored by always seeing them in black.
I wear blood red sometimes
That's cool
Not really, but some of them are really cute.
Yes, I definitely do. Went to a goth club couple weekends ago… wow
I do for those that look like the girl in the picture.

I like them better when they're dominants or dominatrixes.
