At what height is a female considered very tall?

I am pretty sure that 5'9 is the average starting point for a woman to be considered tall. So I would say that if she is 6' or taller she'd be considered very tall.

Probably right. I guess it also depends on how handsomely she clears the average height in her particular location. For eg 5'9 in some countries might be considered very tall for a woman and over there the average man might be below 5'9.

That's very true. In many parts of Asia, including China, the average woman's height is about 5 feet. The average height for women in North America is 5 feet 4 inches. Average heights for women in the U. S. and Canada are the same, while the average in Mexico is just below 5 feet 2 inches.

Yes. I'm still not sure of the UK lol. I do see tall women in public quite often. Its not a rare sight. So does make me wonder sometimes.

I suppose if she is taller than I am at 6'2 I would consider her very tall.

I've never heard a non western woman at 5'5 or even 5'6 claim that she is very tall.

Well it depends; if it's South Asian and East Asian, then yes a woman that is 5'5+ is tall. But a North (Russian/Siberian) and Central Asian, then no, such a height isn't that tall for a woman

Was talking about South Asian. South Asian women 5'7 are considered tall. Not sure about what would be very tall.

Well South Asia is very big so it might be different in certain parts; like in East Asia, a woman being 5'7+ would be considered tall in countries like China, Japan, and Korea, but then in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Phillipines, a woman being 5'4+ is tall
