They could have been gossiping or making fun of you which of course is not cool but not uncommon at your age. Another possibility is that one of them likes you and they were giggling about the one in the group that does like you. Young girls can be immature. Trust me I was there once upon a time. Just ignore them and don't take it to heart. No matter the reason they did it don't let it bother you. Be the bigger more adult person.
