Why do I wet myself when I get beat?

One time I got beat and I piss myself at age 8. It made me felt humiliated and powerless, another time I was 13 this guy hit my knee and I felt a little pee came out and luckily I could control it and my eyes start watering and he saw and was watching me I was embarrassed. Maybe it has to do with fear or pain I don't know 😕

Flight or Fight response. Pure and simple. Something scary/painful happens, chemistry happens in our bodies and lots of stuff changes very rapidly. Had a near accident myself when I was in a dental chair and being tortured (bad tooth infection and it hurt a lot). Had to stop the dentist and go to the bathroom.

If you are concerned about it, then repeated exposure to situation may inure you to the experience. Try martial arts/boxing... with appropriate protective equipment ;)

Awe, sounds like the fear of being beat or hit is what causes it, that sounds sad. My late mom would correct me, I hit this little girl and made her cry all I could hear is my moms voice saying she was going to beat me, and she beat me over my back and arms, but I did not cry. I never noticed anything, but was glad it was done and over with. My late mom was a powerful woman when she was pissed off or mad at us.

Could be fear, or could be a weak pelvic floor. Pelvic exercises may help you if it’s an ongoing problem, not just occurring when violence is involved.

I would say its anxiety complaint , driven by the fear of the pain involved , and even though that pain doesn't happen it triggers loss of control in your urinary tract.

I've wet myself, when I was laughing hard, or afraid. Nothing to be ashamed of.
