Girls, How do you decide whether to wear pants or a skirt?

Let's say you are dressing up on a fair weather day, with a temperature that both isn't too hot to wear pants, and also isn't too cool to wear a skirt. What makes your decision to wear one or the other?

There is no right or wrong answer, I'm simply interested in learning what makes your decision one way or the other?

So under the condition that the weather is good enough for both.
Either if I want to wear another part of an outfit I obviously go by what better fits together.
Another decision would be what activities are planned where we are going. Skirts are prone to 'malfunction' with some activities, altough you can always go skirt something.
That being said, I just like skirts so most of the time yeah I find one to fit.😅

Oh, well usually I check my closet, realise I have no skirts and pick pants.

Honestly I have this one pair of swim shorts that I wear 24/7. They have pockets and they are all I want from the universe.

I'm more of a dress kind of girl. Though of course I will wear skirts. During such described weather I'll usually wear longer dresses/skirts along with thigh high socks.

My priority of wearing skirt is always ahead of choosing wearing pants. But sometimes the top I go with isn't match well with skirt then I'll have to give up
