“scent of a women” starring Al Pacino made my girlfriend cry and run out of the room. Alt movie suggestions?

Scent of a women is one of my fav movies, but it is very emotionally intense. During one of the scenes she couldn’t take it and ran out of the room crying. I eventually convinced her that it has a happy ending but she says these movies are too intense for her and she can’t handle them emotionally.

what are some good movies that you suggest that are made for both female and male audiences. “Please no superhero stuff”

Awww man, that sucks she couldn't handle Scent of a Woman. That scene where Pacino's character realizes he's lost is rough.

Alright, here's some more feel-good options she might like better:

- The Proposal (2009) - It's hilarious and romantic, Sandra Bullock and Reynolds have great chemistry. Always cheers people up.

- Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) - Funny as hell and heartwarming by the end. Everyone can relate to the dating struggles.

- The Big Sick (2017) - A cute, genuine rom-com based on the directors' real life story. Covers serious issues lightly.

- Mamma Mia! (2008) - Who doesn't love cheesy ABBA songs and a gorgeous Greek island setting? Always puts people in a good mood.

- The Princess Bride (1987) - A classic. Funny, romantic adventure without being too dramatic. Something for both of us to enjoy.

- My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) - Julia Roberts is hilarious trying to sabotage a marriage. Chick flicks don't get much better.
