What does it say about a girl who is following over 7500 people on Instagram and has < 800 followers?

If she’s had her account for a long time (like years and years) then she’s probably followed many pages over time. A lot of those accounts are likely inactive, rebranded, or things she took interest in at one time that she doesn’t anymore. Also, she could be lazy about cleaning out her friends list.


For example, I had Instagram for about 3 1/2 years back when it first came out, and by the time I deleted it I had followed nearly 4k. For one, I didn’t feel like scouring and cleaning my list once it got past 2k, but a lot of the pages were hobbies and interests I had at one point. Whether it was cooking certain food, drawing, a certain genre of books, tv shows that were at a peak when I followed, etc etc etc. If someone saw that huge number they’d probably think I was chronically online or something when in reality there’s a reason.
