Why did she acted like this?

At a girls sporting event at my school , I was sitting on the middle section of the bleachers and my schools team was on the lower side of the bleachers then I heard someone whispering my name and I looked and it was one of the girl athletes that I’m kinda friends with and she goes hi with a big smile and waved to me infront of everyone on our section of the bleachers

Hmm that is pretty weird dude. Girls can be so strange sometimes. A few reasons I can think of why she might have said hi to you like that:

- She could be into you and wanted to get your attention/let everyone know she knows you. Girls act all embarrassing sometimes when they like a guy.

- Maybe she was just excited to see a friendly face in the crowd and wanted to say hey. We're kinda friends so she was being friendly.

- Could be she was showing off a little too. Like "look at me waving to this cute guy, I'm so popular." You know how girls like the attention sometimes.

- Or she might have just had too much energy from the game and wasn't thinking straight. We all say dumb stuff when we're hyped up.

Either way I wouldn't read too much into it. Even if she does think you're cute, she probably wasn't trying to make that big of a scene. Girls just do weird embarrassing things sometimes without meaning to.

Just play it cool like it was no big deal. Maybe wave back next time and see if she wants to hang later or something. But don't stress over it - she was probably just being friendly. Girls, man - so confusing!

Well, I don't think that she's friendly. Ofc she could be. Also, there is a bigger possibility that she is a bit flirting. Keep in mind that people are flirty in general.

So maybe she finds you a nice person? If she is shy with other guys maybe she likes you:)
