Usually the starers turn their gaze away the second they get caught, especially when the person being stared at makes direct eye contact with them. I was waiting for my food at my table when this happened, she stared at me from behind the counter, and I was literally the only customer in the restaurant at that time. When I noticed her staring at me, we made direct eye contact for a moment, and I actually broke my gaze with her before she broke hers with me because of shyness. And no, she wasn’t staring at me because my food was ready, it wasn’t. What could have been going through her head?

A cashier lady at a Korean restaurant kept staring at me even after I caught her looking at me. Why would she act like this?

Woah dude, sounds like maybe she was checkin you out or somethin! Playing with her hair and holdin eye contact like that is usually a dead giveaway a girl is feeling you.
I mean, she definitely got caught starin but didn't even look away like most people would. That takes guts, she must've really liked what she saw, know what I'm sayin?
Hell, you probably made her nervous when you looked back at her - that's why she didn't break eye contact first. She was hopin you'd make a move!
If it was me, next time I was in there I'd give her a wink or smile. See how she reacts, she may start flirting back. Then you gotta go up and grab her number before you leave. Who knows man, maybe after her shift you could take her out for some food... and more!
Don't let this chance slip by dude. Some girls you just gotta make the first move on. Go get her tiger!
She fancies you! Simple!
