Would you like to become a blonde, even if you are a brunette or a redhead? I have a friend, and although she has a beautiful natural color, she dyed herself blonde anyway to look like me.

I actually AM a natural blonde, but I have always preferred the absolutely beautiful dk. brown hair that most of girls at my high school, which was around 80% hispanic, had. So I actually dyed my hair brown for about 6mos. Oh I loved it at first, but it didn't take long for me to begin to see that it did NOT suit me! My boyfriend (at the time) hated it, my mom was furious that I dyed my hair w/o even telling her first, let alone asking her, and my best friend who went with me (to use her as the example of what color I wanted), cupped her hands over her mouth, she was so shocked to when she saw how drastic the change was. It didn't take very long for me to regret doing it, and about three months later, I guess my mom had figured that I'd "learned all the lessons" I would about loving myself just as I am, and took me to a specialist, who was able to nearly perfectly match the original color, from MANY pictures of me, from as many angles as possible, and she made my hair almost exactly the same color (s) as it was, BEFORE I impulsively dyed my hair, basically just to fit in!
After that was done, my hair felt like straw, and I needed a Keratin treatment, to return the silky feeling my hair had before! It was an expensive lesson. Mom told me that since it was still summer break, she would pay for it, but I had to get a job to pay her back! (Seriously she was that pissed I did it!) So I got a job and I payed her back the almost $500.00). That was a very painful and expensive mistake! But it did teach me a great lesson on loving my self, exactly the way I am.

Yes thank you, tbh I actually dyed it a bit darker but for me it's more akin to accentuating the colour instead of changing.

About the fairy tale thats why I hated it as a child. There was a phase where I was bullied and called a witch because of it. It wasn't that hard in hindsight but at the time I hated it.

Personally, I value my hair very much, but I have never thought that being a blonde is better than someone else. Sometimes I even have crazy thoughts to dye my hair blue, but my boyfriend won't allow it)

No, it's just that my boyfriend loves my hair. He likes to touch, play with him (he is like a child at this moment). He says that I am a Disney princess for him, like Rapunzel haha. I am glad that he likes it so much. I am happy when he is happy.
