Girls, Smelly sister?

I need help my older sister who is thirty came to live with me and she smells like cat piss (we dont have cats). She takes a bath everyday sometimes two per day but the smell remains. She has already made the room I let in her stay in smell so bad like cat pee. She is starting to make my house smell like cat pee. I hate staying home now and when I do it makes me have anxiety. I feel like it's not my home anymore. She is very sensitive and argumentive when any issue arrives. Please I need advice on how I can approach her about this situation.

It is your house and you should not be afraid to tell her that you have issues with her body odor.

She most likely has a health condition such as liver or kidney Problems.

The kidneys and liver help remove toxins from our bodies. When they cannot function properly, toxins can build up in the blood and digestive tract, creating odor. Kidney disease can cause build of urea and make your sweat and urine smell like ammonia and that is similar to cat pee.

From your answer to another user here, you should try to convince her to seek medical help because you should never take such a possible medical condition lightly. She may probably realize that she has strong body odors and taking baths will only relieve that smell temporarily.

She may have some medical condition going on that she should get checked out

When we were younger she never smelled like this. I want to talk to her about it but I don't know how to approach the situation

I would be gentle about it. Explain your concern, suggest she see a dr. You said she sometimes bathes twice a day so maybe she's aware of the smell and isn't sure what to do about it.

Some people just have a natural stink. She should see a doctor if it is that bad.
