Do you go barefoot at home?

I go barefoot at home but my boyfriend says it' odd. What would you do in this situation?

Its mandatory here in Asia , its highly offensive to wear shoes or any footwear in a house or office. ( Thailand ) , only shopping centres are okay.

I wasn't kicked out , but was approached in 1998 in Walmart for being barefoot , something back then you would do commonly in Australia , it was a super hot day in North Carolina.

So , not even remotely strange.

I'm barefoot in the summer when it's too hot and have socks on in the winter. The truth is, I would not go barefoot in someone else's house though, because I do find that strange. I think it's just etiquette to be considerate of someone's house. If I put my feet up on their couch, I think it looks more clean to have socks on. Same as a chair or anything.

I don't know though... it's different depending on where you go.

Always barefoot at home. I only wear shoes when I have to. Had to wear shoes in HS, but when I started University, the shoes stayed home and the dog came with.

I rarely wear shoes at home. I sometimes go barefoot, sometimes walk around with only socks on, and sometimes I wear slippers.

It's not that odd to go barefoot. Your boyfriend should try it.

They're warm and comfortable - think chalk bald on finger nails - without socks feels weird unless it's a shower, a bath, the pool, a spa, etc ☺️😊👀
