A girl asked me what my type was. She left to do something before I could answer (she came back). Person who overheard it laughed a little and said she’s a nice girl and asked me if I had a girlfriend. Why would that girl ask that?

Hmm that's kinda weird that she asked what your type was out of the blue like that. Girls don't usually ask that unless they're interested in a guy or wondering if they could be his type, ya know?

My best guess is she might have a little crush on you dude! She was probably hoping you'd say something like "oh I like cute girls with nice smiles like you" or something corny. Then you would have known she was into you.

But since someone interrupted before you could answer, she probably got embarrassed. That's probably why the other person laughed a bit too, cause they could tell she likes you or something.

I'd say you should try finding her again and giving her a real answer to what your type is. But make sure to include some things that describe her so she knows you might be into her too! Then maybe ask for her number or social media so you guys can chat more. Sounds like she wants you to make a move.

Don't overthink it man, I bet she's into you. Go for it! Girls don't usually ask that unless they wanna know if you could be into them back.
