Girls who falsely accuse a man of r-ping should face jail time or fines? In my opinion I agree with that because a simple accusation can ruin a man life/future for ever.
1 yIn a just and perfect world a woman should be sentenced to the exact same prison sentence and consequences (having to register as sex offender) as the wrongly accused man would of have faced.
I would be more then happy to see that because there are innocent men sitting in prison right now because of false rape accusations. Here is one famous example https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Banks_(American_football)
However this is tricky. The Brian Banks case was rare because the oxygen wasting piece of sh*t false accuser Wanetta Gibson was stupid enough to reach out to Brian after he got prison and arranged a “let’s bygones be bygones”. She was scared he might track her down and exact revenge (which he would of been justified doing in my opinion).
Anyway Brian Banks managed to secretly record her admitting she lied about everything. But most false accusers aren’t going to be that stupid. Also Wanetta Gibson faced no criminal charges whatsoever for what she did. None which is disgusting and insane.
However modern feminism has also successfully changed the legal system to keep an accusers name out of the media. While I see how that is meant to protect the victim it also gives cover to the liars. But I wonder in “he said she said” cases with no physical evidence if the victims name should be concealed from the media. If there is legit DNA evidence that’s one thing. But protecting a accusers identity with just verbal evidence is quite another.
Another step that can be taken is the defendant can demand that the accuser takes a full polygraph lie detector test panelpretrial. Although lie detectors can be inaccurate the technology has improved.
Also there needs to be legislation that makes it easier to file criminal charges again false accusers. It can be done but it’s not easy in today’s legal system.
And modern feminism is the number one reason for this is a problem. By far. Feminist activists have an attitude that “to make an omelette you have to break a few eggs” when it comes to false accusations. When in reality they should be the first to speak out against such heinous bs because it hurts women too. But they don’t.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yOn paper, I agree. However, I do have concerns. It's already pretty difficult to prove a rape case, and for that reason, many women are already hesitant to even report a rape. If you add on the fear of going to jail themselves, after being raped and losing out on the case, well... That would just further dissuade people from reporting actual rapes. So while I think jail time or fines for false reports would be great in a perfect world, in our imperfect one, I worry it would do more harm than good.

I mean a true rape case is pretty easy to prove there’s always some sort of evidence even some test. A random girl accusing a random guy of something he did not do could break him.

That's assuming the victim reports it immediately which a lot don't out of fear, shame, or their rapist has some sort of power over them like a child being raped by a father or uncle and are unable to report on their own.

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 True :// that’s the most nasty form a rape just by reading that makes me feel weird. Always asked myself what they find in little kids
Anonymous(30-35)1 yNo. Even tho I find it devastating for the FEW men that go through it - then it would just make rape victims even less likely to come from: since now - the risk is not only that your rapist gets of without consequences but YOU can be jailed if that happened.
And no a "true" rape is not easy to proof always. You're quite disgusting for refering to something as "true" rape. Guess I've been falsey raped multiple of times because I didn't report it. Good job internet - you are all becoming nasty ass assholes. Leaving this nasty app for good.

1 ySure, it's illegal just like any other kind of slander & can rlly damage reputation & shit.
It would have to be PROVED it was a false accusation tho, just like it would have to be proved if it was rape. If u can't prove either way then sorry not in favor of punishing anyone without proof. Unfortunately proof can be hard to get in these cases...

So when a woman wrongfully accuses a man she makes a mockery of the charge and will make it harder for another woman to get a conviction when she actually IS raped.

YES THANK YOU
593 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. It already is illegal to do so, so yes upholding the law on this would be the right thing to do.
If you know it really happened I doubt this would be a reason to not come out about it, people already have several worries to why they wouldn't come out about it and I think this would be a minor thing on the list.
But if you know your going to lie there is nothing to worry you about doing that except this would.20 Reply664 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Not just falsely accuse. In my city a young girl ran out of a park screaming she had been raped.
It lead to an elderly gay guy being kicked to death in the park. Sure she didn't do any kicking herself, but she was causal in that man dying horribly.
She could have been tried for incitement to affray but no charges of course.
Jail time was appropriate. It is well due for review.30 Reply
1 yYes, but it shouldn’t be strictly enforced. For example, the test cannot be whether the accused is convicted, because beyond a reasonable doubt is a very high bar, and there’s still a great deal of inherent bias. Nuisance accusations though should be punished.
20 ReplyDepends on the definition of "falsely accused". ~2-10% of rape accusations are proven false either maliciously or a case of mistaken identity. ~2-10% of rape accusations are proven true in a court of law. The other ~80-95% have insufficient evidence to convict in a court of law. I think it we can prove malicious intent on the part of the accuser then they should be held criminally liable. At a minimum civilly liable.
20 ReplyCharge them with kidnapping or attempted kidnapping, depending on whether or not her attempts to get the cops to kidnap and falsely imprison him worked out. Then, put them on a public registry for life.

1 yThere is a very infamous case of this, where a girl accused a guy of rape but she made the whole story up. Many people were falsely accused of not doing enough about something that never happened, and it made it all the more difficult for legitimate accusations of rape to be heard.

1 yAbsolutely ruining someone’s life because either a revenge thing or because you regret sleeping with someone is wrong. It also hurts real victims of rape as well. Disgusting
20 ReplyYes, they should face jail time and, everyday the media should report convictions so women would be aware of the risk of false accusations.
40 Reply333 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Agree, plus they should have a false accuser registry for any future cases involving that person.

1 yI feel she should get the punishment the man would have got. She doesn’t have to get charged with that but she should definitely get the fines and jail time.

1 yAgreed, unless they actually had sex, which was consensual, where she may later feel guilty sbout it and claim rape.

1 yI agree, but this will never work. If you start penalising those bitches, they will NEVER admit their wrongdoings and it will be tenfold harder to release innocent people. That's the saddest part of it.
10 Reply306 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I agree, as long as there is a trial for the false accusation. If it is proved that she falsely accused him, I think her punishment should be serious

1 yThey should definitely face both jail time and fines. Honestly anyone who falsely accuses a person of some serious shit that can ruin their lives like rape or molestation should be punished.

1 yMust have the same punishment as a rapist

Rapists barely get punished to be honest. It depends on the countries but some countries rapist get less than 10 or even 5 years
- 1 y
If that's the case than the accusation won't hurt the guy so much in such countries!
- 1 y
Jail time is still going to leave bad things on your CV yk that and it’s going to be hard to find a job or settle if your record says “RAPIST”
- 1 y
How come a country doesn't condemn a real rapist so much but will condemn someone on a harsh way just for an accusation, something is not right or has some sort of double standards!
- 1 y
Double standard will always be around no matter how hard we try 😭

When you bring the right person and give him the right position than things will change for the better, i'm sure!
