Am I a stupid for asking that to my pregnant coworker?

I have a pregnant coworker and I asked her why do babies kick inside the womb she replied because he's alive and he has brain thats why he moves thats his brain activity. And she laughed and made fun of me like sometimes my questions are not funny. I didn't meant that question to be funny I was just plain curious and asked her. So I felt kinda stupid for asking that..

Nope your just being curious. What I find so weird is that babies usually kick while sleeping in there. a lot of people assume they're awake and playing but no it's just from their brain activity like how we move in our sleep

They are kicking well before they have much of a brain.

The brain starts forming way before the legs. You have to remember they have nubs for arms and legs until like 6-8 weeks into pregnancy. The brain starts forming before a woman can even have a positive pregnancy tezt

@Apple1996 "Starts forming" is not the same as "being conscious". Please tell me why it's ok to kill fully grown cows and pigs but not ok to terminate a pregnancy at 12 weeks.
