Lol. I definitely agree with you where I live it's not a homeowners association but they're trying to make it that and they just love to control you..

And I could be outside doing something and they'll pull out and start talking with me and then they'll tell me that I need to do this and that's what I'm right in the middle of doing and I like to look at them and say

Well I'm kind of right in the middle of something right now.

Umm. When do you want me to start that and I'll just stare into their eyes...

But I'll wait for an answer or say yeah so when should I start that when you want me to start doing that

And they'll never answer me because they know what I'm doing they just like to hear themselves control somebody

OMG! Your example is an excellent one! Nothing irritates me more than that and my mother took it to a new level! I would leave my bedroom and she would instantly say, "make sure you turn the light off". When I would get in the car with her, first thing she stays, "make sure you close the door tight and put your seatbelt on". A couple times I wanted to slap her! I can give a lot more examples lol

That happened tome yesterday, and I exploded. Usually, being called "bro" at age 71, especially by some whipper snapper about a half-century my junior or even HEARING "bro" frosts my orange juice.
