What does that mean exactly when another girl calls me a "cunt."?

One girl called another girl a "cunt" on this website. A couple of times, I have had another girl call me a "cunt" before. One was playing and one was a little mad. So, my question is what exactly does that mean when one girl calls another a "cunt,." I assume that it is not meant literally, so what does it mean? Is it just a figure of speech? Should it be taken in context. It is not something that I have ever called anybody when mad, frustrated, or playfully. I really would like to know exactly. Thanks for responding.

Its the worst possible word you can be called , and in this context obviously its not literal , but in general terms the stupid bitch is extremely jealous , so I'd take it as a compliment.

My pleasure , I have another friend here that I will not name , who is also constantly attacked by other females here , because they are jealous.
I once used this word ( jokingly ) to a male friend , and he took incredible offence , so really I no longer use the word even in fun anymore.
There is a guy her who says it , he says he's saying " Caaant " , he really pisses people off.

It's a word that you definitely shouldn't call someone. It is degrading and vulgar. I have never been called that and have rarely heard it used.

Usually, it's the same as a guy calling another guy a dick or an asshole. Guys also get called, "cunts".

It's a generic insult to a female, usually prompted by some undesirable behavior. It doesn't mean she actually thinks you're a giant vagina.
