Today is International Women's Day and I want to set aside my gripes with modern women for a moment and take this opportunity to celebrate all the amazing women out there. I love and appreciate the countless good women of the world. They bring a lot of value and joy to my life and the world on many levels. Here are a few things I appreciate and admire about women.

Women are kind and compassionate, more so than men in general.

Women make men want to be better human beings.

Women are nurturing. They take care of their loved ones.

Women are intuitive. They seem to have a sense for people that men usually don't.

Women are smart.

Women are amazing organizers. I'm not so much.

Women are hard workers.

Women make a house a home. My wife sure does and so did my mom.

Women are beautiful. Nuff said.

So let's hear it guys, what do you love and appreciate about women?

I appreciate the women who helped/made lots of things people use everyday, like electric fridges, windshield wipers, and wifi.

Also all the women who fought against oppressors and oppressive government systems for the rights of themselves and others (I wouldn't have many important rights if not for those women, and neither would my sisters or friends).

Also the women in my life personally who have been positive role models, taught me skills I need for my job, for life in general, and especially the importance of being financially independent and responsible. I wouldn't be where I am without them.

Lots of women are great. Women are amazing. They should get far more respect and recognition than they typically do.
