So, a few months back, I approached a girl. Well, I introduced myself and asked her what's her name with a traditional handshake, and she shook her head in refusal. I took it at face value and immediately stopped trying. So fast forward a week later, coincidentally, I passed her. This time, she was with a guy. Ironically, the guy was introducing himself, basically doing what I did, and she followed up and led with a handshake 🤝 . Temporary chest pains, but it did not matter much. I saw her once after that, but she was far away. So it happens that I met her today. Heading in opposite directions, we pass each other, and as we do, I don't stare at her, completely ignoring her, but I glance at her 😂 and see a smile on her face. Well, it was awkward for me.

So when you shook her hand and asked her name she said nothing? Just shook her head? If so then that’s pretty rude and you have the right to feel awkward but if that wasn’t the case then I don't know what the issue is now. You say she smiled at you, should she have worn a blank face? Ignored you completely? I’m not even being sarcastic with these questions I just genuinely don’t know what other response she should’ve had when you’re basically strangers and she has nothing against you.
