Not true, at least not in the way that sentence tries to frame it.

Let me put it simply and cleanly

Sassy just means confident, playful, outspoken.

That doesn’t automatically translate into being rude, cruel, or “a bitch.”

Some people get defensive or sharp when they’re hurt, stressed, or not respected but that’s about emotion, not personality type.

Plenty of “sassy” women stay warm, loyal, and emotionally grounded their whole lives.

And plenty of quiet, gentle women can snap when pushed too far.

It’s human, not gendered, and not tied to being “sassy.”

So the statement is really just a stereotype.

A person’s “edge” comes out when their boundaries are crossed not because they’re sassy.
