I think they often look unnatural and unappealing. I'd prefer just a flat stomach with some toned abs but not that rock hard muscle. It doesn't make for a good pillow either, lol. I appreciate how much work goes into them if steroids aren't involved but I'd definitely prefer a more natural body type.

Women are not physically attracted to men. So it does not matter. They are only interested in something that they can benefit or take advantage of.

Not really. Women connect good appearance as a sign that you take care of yourself. And that is for most women a defect, as they they assume that if you take care of yourself, you might know your value, thus you may not be willing to die for them or serve them. It may be a sign that it will not be easy to subdue and exploit you, and women do not like it.
