Why are even 12 year old 6th graders so heavily filled with make up?

Why can't kids be kids, use their allowences for toys & stuff designed for their age?

I just see too many girls trying so hard to look like single, supermodels.

Its not even healthy for the skin!

Not that it happens often in my opinion, but the reason it does happen is either A, it makes them feel good for themselves and there is nothing wrong with that or B, societal pressure forces them to do it. There is lots of pressure on women and girls to look and act a certain way. Really this holds true for kids in general which is a learned trait from adults in media and around them, but especially true for young girls. It's a masking trait to hide imperfections to avoid being bullied which is the least healthy option.

Want it to stop being a thing for 12 year olds? Then teach society to stop putting pressure on girls to always conform to the same standard and just embrace originality.

I messed around with makeup when I was young. So did most of my friends. We thought we were all grown up. I barely wear it now.

The better question is, why do you care?

the 12 year olds of today... if allowed by their parents, can do heavy makeup, vaping, gambling, money and so many other things

that's why most socials don't allow under 13 kids

but their parents... do allow it, and then this does happen

That's teens -- at adolescence they want to appear as adults. There are a lot of teenage girls using makeup badly, because they are learning. Some will learn, others will be wearing badly applied makeup their entire lives.
