What would you do if a girl, whom you're trying to be friends with, leaves you on read on Instagram?

Met a girl at an event that she was hosting and got her Instagram ID. We talk about our favorite songs and about possibly hanging out in April with her other friend. After she said that she'll let me know what she thinks about a songs list that I've shared with her (she shared songs that she likes and I did the same), I told her that I was a little curious to see what she thinks of my list and then proceed to wish her a happy Friday. I also ask her if she has any fun plans this weekend.

But when I woke up just now, I saw that she read my text and didn't respond. It hasn't been even a day since she last responded but I'm not worried. Just curious, if this happened to you, what would you do?

Sounds like this young lady was just lying to you to avoid awkwardness. This girl has zero interest in you or your friendship.

it’d be nice if people could be honest with one another although I can’t talk too much cause I’m guilty to doing the same thing. You gotta use common sense though action speak louder than words and her actions say that being your friend is at the bottom of her to do list.
