When I was chatting to an older woman online recently, she randomly said that I have nice lips.
I'm a younger guy, why did she say that?

There's quite a decent possibility that she just might actually, in a very much straightforward if not completely obvious way, simply wish to imply or even precisely hold the desire to emphasize that your lips are indeed one of the most scrumptious body parts she has ever been given the chance to lay her eyes on. In other words, she means your lips are nice. Must compliments involve implicit meanings or ulterior motives of some sort?
But pretension isn't. :/
