Do you think that real love can save a woman from suicide?

I have been reading about women who had committed suicide, i have noticed a pattern where the majority of these women are either single or divorced, rarely married...

Do you think that some societies puts a lot of pressure on women to show them that their super women, not needing men, they can survive and be happy on their own, such as they can do it all by themselves, the famous feminazi quote!

Latest story about this American celeb called "Hayden Panettiere" they found her dead yesterday, she was only 36, she lost her brother, lost the custody of her daughter, her ex has his daughter living with him in Ukraine, plus she had suffered from a postpartum depression, some people are saying that she committed suicide! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is it a shame if a woman admits that she needs a man, love, care and a family in order to feel really happy and to find stability in her life?

Sometimes simple things such as a hug, a kiss can stop a suicide!

I think each case is different. I think the support of family and friends can make a big difference for people going through depression as well. I don’t know what happened to Hayden but it’s very sad news, may her soul find peace.

Ultimately I think we need to value ourselves first. Love adds something new to our lives but happiness stars within yourself first.

I think real love can save someone from suicide definitely, but nothing in life is guaranteed. Thats why we have to learn to value ourselves first, so that we may be strong always regardless of future circumstances.

Well said miss choco, well real love means marriage and marriage means a family, that's where you get your power, happiness, care and everything from, even if you couldn't find self happiness, they will make you find it, plus they will be around you all the time making sure that you're happy, taken care of and listens to you when you need to vent...

Parents and kids are a plus, but when you're married, the most important is your spouse because he/she will be the closet person to you, spiritually, mentally and physically... etc

some of the higher, if not the highest rates of suicide in women...

that was during the decades in which they were pretty much forced by society to "stay in the kitchen and be a happy traditional wife"

divorce was not allowed... so they could not escape abusive, violent, unhappy marriages... they literally killed themselves to go away from those situations

the choice to divorce and leave a nightmare partner... saved more lives than anything else at the time but to your question...

can real love save people... unfortunately, love is not always enough to save someone from extremely complicated situations like suicide situations

About the suicide i agree, but in general love cand care can lower the suicide rates to the mininum...

Mental health starts with the person first, not depending on someone else to fix your problems.

I know that i helped countless of women who suffered from such situations, couldn't help themselves on their own!

Yes, after that they managed to heal themselves!

Sometimes a person only needs hope!

Understand, situations that are extreme, human help is often futile.

A person under such conditions needs to be in a mental hospital or they are just going to end up killing themselves.

Suicide is an extremely crazy thing to do and real love isn't going to stop someone who is mentally ill.

To you life seems like a TV show or movie that isn't consistent with how the real world works.

Your personal experience of 3 or 4 women isn't the reality of 90% of people's who are suffering from extreme mental health problems.

I told you that i understand what you mean and i agree that some people with brain damage needs medication and to be sent into a psychiatric hospital, i know that no matter how much my number is big it's still a very tiny fraction of the population for sure, but at least i'm doing something, something that is positive and good, no one can do it on his own, but if can make others help the ones in need, than we will grow bigger and others will be able to receive more help, step by step you'll reach a time when you'll a have a better world, a lot less suicides, nothing is perfect, but if we can make things better, why leave it for the worst... that's all!
