Her friends keep saying "We would make a cute couple"

I've started talking to this girl that's a grade below me in high school and on Saturday night one of her friends said we should date because we would make a cute couple. Then today I took her to lunch and that same friend and another one came up to me while the girl I'm talking to was away and asked if we came to lunch together and then asked if I liked her, I kind of shrugged my shoulders and smirked a little (basically saying yeah kind of without actually saying it). Then again they said we should date because we'd make a cute couple.

Is this just them doing this or do you think they could be pushing because of something she told them? I feel like there's more to it then them just saying that.

It could be... or it could not be. Sometimes girls are giggly and they're like "Do you like him your always hanging out with him?" and the girl youve been hanging out with may be like "Yeah I kinda do" or she may of been like "Nah... he's just a friend.. but I wouldn't mind I guess" lol OR ya she could of told them she likes you or they may just be expressing their personal opinions because they want to be match makers lol and think you'd guys be happy together.

Yea it sounds like there is more to it. Girls are chatterboxes so they've definitely talked about you with her and it sounds like she doesn't mind the idea. I say push for it if that's what you want.

The same thing happened with me and my girlfriend and we've been together for 3 months.
