If a girl rubs her leg against mine, is that possibly a way of flirting?

I was sitting in the bus the other morning, when a girl (who's a complete stranger to me) decides to sit next to me. Not much later her leg touches mine. This does happen more often in a bus, but not as firm and comfortable as this. It was pretty cold and we were actually keeping each other warm by exchanging body heat. By then I thought her to be only feeling comfortable sitting next to me, but then she began rubbing her leg gentle against mine in short intervals. Even though I'm pretty flirtatious by nature, I was pretty shy at that moment because I was so surprised I think. I managed to actually do it back, but not as comfortable as she seemed to do it. I'm afraid of being seen as some kind of creep in these kind of situations.

Now I'm wondering if it was just me being an idiot in the early morning... Or might she actually have been flirting in a cute kind of way?

Probably you imagining it. When you sit beside someone on a bus you pretty much have no choice but to be touching them.

Do you mean she might have tried to get some attention from me? I did have a feeling she might have looked my direction from the corners of her eyes. I did put a subtle smile on my face, but that's probably not enough. I just don't want to do something that gives her a bad impression, so I'm still thinking of what to do the next time something like this happens. Thanks!

I've looked for that, and she did seem to glance at me for a sec... That was after we got out of the bus. It was pretty dark that early in the morning and the fact that she was sitting next to me made it rather difficult to have any eye contact. Thanks by the way!
