What does it mean when a girl calls you funny?

Me and this girl have a few classes together in college and blah blah she said "I'll be texting you to ask you questions all the time." She didn't have my number at that point and I didn't have hers. So I got her number after that. I text her later that night asking if she got the homework and she used a smiley and called me a smarty pants(because I'm actually really smart haha) and I joked saying nah I'm pretty dumb and she said "haha you're too funny!" I thought she was being sarcastic but then the next day we saw someone almost slip on ice and I said how that was close to being an awesome wipeout. Then after we split to go to different classes, I get a text from her quoting what I said and she said ha ha you're funny again. Then we're texting and I'm wording things like she owes me something and I ask what I would get for helping her and she said "you get to talk to me! :)"

From those texts, do you think she likes me? We talked a couple times last semester but not much at all, and this semester she recognized me. She also asked me to join a club that she is in...

I'm guessing it is some kind of compliment? A lot better than the "you are so annoying and never funny" I get from this girl all the time. Enjoy it.
