I wouldn't say its "intimidation" but rather that its the ones who make us think more, and we put above ourselves. If men learned to not think of women as a valuable object, and as a person, perhaps more would be able to walk up to women and have a conversation, while avoiding the friend zone. It really depends on the guy though, you have to make your intents clear.
I know there are girls that get me stuck in my head to, and I have to step back and just realize they're humans. Yeah it may sound f'd up, but men happen to be materialistic as well as women, but in different ways.50 Reply

Beautiful, smart girls intimidate me. My previous ex was gorgeous and very intellectual and I was always a nervous wreck around her the first time we started dating.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yi don't get approached often but when I do I sometimes get complimented about my looks. I've always wondered if there was something about me that made me intimidating. I'm somewhat reserved and shy at times. I'm always afraid that I have this terrible unapproachable look on my face... you know the one? but inside I'm ready and willing to strike up a convo or meet someone. I'm always so self conscious about whether or not I'm looking approachable enough. I think it's one of my biggest worries when I'm in public.

Touche. Well said.
+1 yI've always kinda wondered if this is true of me, I try to be friendly and let people feel at ease around me. But I also fit into a couple of the descriptions up there of the ambitious, intelligent girl...soo...how can someone who may be intimidating make ourselves less so?

I like this question and interested in seeing guys' answers. I've often been told I'm intimidating. I'm 5'8", confident in my skills, smarter than your average bear, and don't have a problem telling it like it is. Apparently, people can't handle that.

+1 yi wouldn't say she intimidate I would say I'm just a little nervous and the kind makes me a little nervous is Asian girls I say that because I don't know what to talk about with her what if I don't know how to speak her native language what if I act stupid of goofed up a lot of stuff like that bugs me and what if her parents don't approve of me what if her parents hate me. This is why I get a little nervous and I assure I'm not shy I'm just a little nervous around Asian girls and yes I admit it I find them attractive

@PoeticNinja I understand that what I mean was what to talk about with her, what if I don't know how to speak her native language, what if her parents don't approve of me and what if her parents hate me.And other stuff I listed I say these things because if you know how parents and how family are about boyfriends/girlfriends and relationships.

Hahaha! My friend is the same. He came begging to me asking if I could give him a crash course on avoiding all social faux pas regarding Indian culture. He is engaged to her now though :D

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yExtremely pretty. I don't think they are out of my league, but they just mess me up! I had a girl that often works at bars, etc. when they need someone beautiful to come in. The looked amazing and we had a mutual friend and she liked me. We went out on three dates that went great till the end. She wasn't a very flirty girl and I just couldn't go for the kiss. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and every time I did I freaked out and kissed her on the cheek. (I also am recently divorced and haven't had much experience dating again)
Anyway she said she didn't want to date anymore and just be friend. Couldn't feel a connection with me. Excuse me while I beat my head against the wall!22 Reply- +1 y
So id she was flirty, you would've stepped up your game with a kiss?!
+1 yI don't get intimidated by women. Well, not anymore. I used to get intimidated by girls that had a dominant personality. Now I just think of myself to be just as good as any woman I am interested in. If you ever think someone is too good for you, then they are.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yAny girl that is really fat will intimidate me. I weight 160lbs and am 6'2". Fat girls honestly scare me. I'm not kidding, I find them threatening if they weigh a lot more than me.
The other type of girl that intimidates me is the really loud or rude type. If she is in my face constantly, I am really turned off. Give me a sweet girl any day.
A girl that is rich, beautiful or smart would be wonderful. I've dated a few of each and some that had all of the above. They were some really good girls.30 Reply

Bitchy girls don't intimidate me, I think their attitude is amusing10 Reply345 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. for me it's someone who is so drop dead gorgeous she makes my heart skip a beat. (very rare but it happens) even though I'm still shy when it comes to asking a girl out I think I have more courage than I did back in high school.
00 ReplyIf I feel like I'm having to watch what I say around her, then she's intimidating. Some girls are just so sensitive and can't take a light joke. I need a girl who can take my humor because it can be dry on occasion

Any woman can say to me, sure. But no woman is going to have so much 'x' that I wouldn't consider making a pass at her if I wanted to, for any value of 'x'.10 Reply622 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. When they are waay too pretty and have that stuck up/shotgun face that says I don't want any body to approach me.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yRoughly 90% of them, if they're between the ages of 18 and 35. Older than that, it's a different type of intimidation.
