I saw this girl and we made direct eye contact and she gave a relaxed smile and I gave one back. does this mean she possibly finds me attractive?

yes, possibly.

anyone can look at anyone, it happens all the time people people watch, and space out, ect. but she acknowledged you by smiling.

i was always told that if I wanted to be approached by a guy I was looking at, to make eye contact with him and smile nicely. its like a secret invite for just him to come over and talk to me.

either she likes you, or someone within earshot said something really stupid/funny or the sitaution just is and she wanted to laugh about it with you. then again that is a good sign, too. so yes, if it's a genuine, unforced smile it's 95% she likes you

umm possibly. or she was just being friendly.. I smile all the time at peeps, doesn't mean I'm attracted to them.. usually just means I'm in a good mood.
