He keeps looking at me!

I HATE when guys stare at me and consistently look at me. It's just annoying and makes me feel insecure.

This one guy I work with, I do like him, he ALWAYS does this! When we're apart I constantly catch him looking at me. I don't know what to do.

I can't pursue him either. He's married. Believe me, I'm not that girl. But, still. Why does he keep looking at me?!?!

Whereas women are mostly emotionally stimulated, men are mainly visually stimulated. He obviously likes what he sees, but likely the reason he doesn't pursue you is the same reason you don't pursue him: He's married. Being in the vicinity of attractive women who aren't their wives is complicated for married men with healthy libidos. Basically if they don't want a scandal, all they can DO is look. It's like being hungry at a steakhouse, but you have to have the discipline not to eat any of the food there because you promised you'd eat lasagna for the rest of your life. Sometimes it can be downright torturous. I wonder if he's getting any at home... At any rate, you don't go blind to the beauty of other people just because you got married. And because men are more visually stimulated and have higher sex drives, they find it much harder to turn off this radar than do women. Now this is just a theory, but he could possibly be wishing YOU would make a move on HIM...which might reverse some of the guilt he would feel if he made the first move on you. After that, he might act all innocent like you were the one who seduced him. If he's making a lot of eye contact, this might just be the case, because that means he doesn't care if you know he's looking. Kind of like saying to you (without having to say it out loud in front of everyone else), "If I were single, I would so tap that ass...or I may just be willing to do it anyway if you really wanted it, but YOU would have to let ME know." But if he's just checking you out when he thinks you're not looking, he may be taking some mental snap-shots for later, if you know what I mean... Either way, good for you for not being "that girl." It's good to know that there are some people out there who still have some standards.

Are you sure he is looking directly at you and not just in your direction? A guy who is "happily" married never has to worry about where he is looking. If you look at him can you see the eye contact or is he just looking in your direction or does he immediately look away because you caught him staring?

Directly at me. I make eye contact every time I catch him. I'm not looking for him either. I just feel someone's gaze. I don't know if he's actually "happily" married...just married. I immediately look away before anything else happens.

I mean he obviously has a thing for you if he keeps staring. Trust me if you were unattractive to him he wouldn't give you the time of day. Just ignore him, don't read into it too much. The last thing you'd want is to be the "other woman".
