Girls, do you like guys with lifted trucks, and what do you like about them or the truck?

I was just wonderin what you all think. See I have a 1989 dark blue dodge pick up truck with a 7 inch liift and 35s under it that's has some chrome here and there and a nice nice homemade chrome bumber. My truck now gets almost 20 miles to the gallon since I've done some work to it and its going to have a air horn on it in a few weeks. I'm thinkin bout gettin it painted black maybe. But I. Was just wonderin cause when I drive through town I see a lot of heads turnin so I'm tryin to figure out what you actual think of a guy with a big truck and what its is you like about it if you do like it.

Im not a counrty girl by anymeans, but i deff check out lifted trucks. Its more or so to see any coustom work done to it, and to check oit parts. Im. A big gear head, so if i only see top of the line parts, but no customization, or a need for said parts, im going to assume that you are a dick who only, has a truck to pick up girls. consequently, if you have shit parts, but lots of modification, i will asume that you have a, passion for trucks and i would want, to hang, out with you. Im not really a fan of chrome though,

You would love and maybe dislike my bumber then its chrome and steel. But there's no other bumber like it. My dad and his brother and dad built the truck and bumber and it was oassed down to me. I try to keep it in good condition though I want to see it last another 15 years.

Yea. I mean i have a 75 chevy shortbed, and it has a chrome bumper, but as of right now, all body work is stock and original. The real fun os in the big block. Lol i care much more aboit engines and parts, than the look of the truck.

I here ya I've got a 318 in my 89 its got a air filter from a 67 chevy so she likes to talk a lot. Do you put your own parts on and work on it yourself?

Its been an ongoing project that my dad and I do together. Its got a 454 in it from an 8th generation suburban. My dad had to do some coustom part building in order to get it to properly run, but its a champ alright. I would like to see a better air intake system in place after too long, but thats all in the details. This thing was born to melt some rubber, lol

Lol so far she sounds pretty nice. I don't get to do to much work with my dad I mainly learn as I go since he is a long distance truck driver but I know a fair share of diesel work now. So do you race her or anything of the sort?

Lol hell no! Tigger (as i properly named it when i was 5) is mainly for goofing off. A bit of fourwheeling and burnouts and whatnot. Im pretty sure that truck gets like 7 miles a gallon, so its not exactly good for racing. Although, it would be fun to yake to bandimer and see what it does on 1/4's

Haha alright so you do use it as a toy.. tigger cool name my truck as of right now my 4 year old brother calls it my monster truck so no real name. Mine used to get 8-10 miles to the gallon but ve done some modifications and now runs 17-20 miles to gallon. That would definently bee interesting to know how it does on 1/4s

Nah, I like trucks. As long as you DO something with them. I have a truck and I use it to haul my horses and use the bed for shavings and scrap.

Well where I'm from I know a few girls that know what it is... somewhat lol and I use mine to help people I see on the side of the road.. which can lead to playin with it in a field or mud pit.

From people I know, all the guy with lifted trucks are real assholes. Overconfident, controlling in relationships and overall douche bags.

I mean it depends on how big the lift is really. Anything from about 4-7 is pretty praticle, beyond that is just to show off really.

The guys I know don't have any practical use for a lifted truck. They don't use them for work, they just speed up and down the road all day.

I use mine to help people I see o the side of the road or one year we had a hurricane and knocked a huge tree in tge road everyone was backed up so my dad and I hooked up a chain and whipped the tree in to the ditch. But I pull people out of ditches or mud with mine too.

It's great that you actually use your truck other than to make noise. Also, I'm not saying that everyone with a lifted truck is an ass.

Yeah I understand that I mean you get people that just like to show off all the time... and I admit that ill show off every now and then like there was a time some people in tge parkin lot were messin round with there trucks cause they had nothin better to do I guess so I turned my music up boom boom and put them to shame with my engine which I was told could be heard a mile away.

Sorry I can't stand that look. It looks ridiculous to me and I'd think negatively of the guy driving a truck like that. It screams immaturity.
