I have a crush on one of my colleagues. We have a flirty relationship together. Although he’s never actually told me I’m attractive, he’s implied it. Once I told him that I wanted someone else to do my hair and makeup for an event so I could look beautiful. His response was “why don’t you just do it yourself?” I think that’s the closest I’ve got to him saying anything.

I’ve felt nervous about coming to work because currently I have styes/chalazions in both eyes. I made a joke about not having makeup on at work but he still flirts and is playful towards me. I’d presume if he thought I was hideous, he wouldn’t flirt.

Or is he just lazy. My boyfriend (30 yr old) subscribes a lot to semi traditional roles. (My bank account says we don't but hey, i paid for couches, his ps5, most of household products including food which is expensive) I'm 22 in health care, I usually work the days he is off is usually clean until the am before I go (he won't bc he says it's my job) all I ask of him is to do a bit if vacuuming and keep the litter boxes clean. Got off my shift and ended up doing everything (he didn't even shower), also prepared 3 meals. He threw a fit and said he didn't have to clean bc he pays all of the bills and refused to do larger tnrw while I'm at work. Is this a guy thing it is he just lazy? Am I asking for too much?

This guy kept watching me from afar and staring at me for months but claims he was never that into me when I told him I liked him and noticed him staring at me. If a man stares at a woman from afar but doesn’t approach her does it really mean he is not that interested? If yes, why is he not that interested if he is obviously attracted and lonely?

I gave crush a nickname (made out of his name) it's ridiculous but really cute i don't use it in public just between us. He says he hates it but he still lets me call him that silly nickname. One day I called him how everyone calls him and he said do you have a fever? Are you sick or smth you never call me that. So then i used his nickname again and he said he hates it again

Do guys secretly like these silly names just won't admit to it?

He always used to like give frequent eye contact, do same things which I was interested in, even sat nearby in class but we never had a conversation. Recently I found out he's using Instagram. So I'm wondering will it be weird to follow him even tho we never had a conversation? Please I'm confused.

I was out drinking with a guy friend who I’ve known for a couple of years. We’re pretty flirty and I have a crush on him.

When we were out, someone said that they thought he was my boyfriend. Later on, I told a mutual friend that a stranger thought my crush was my boyfriend. My crush then said “I should be so lucky”.

Does he like me? Why would he say that?

I find most men want a career driven partner just so they don’t have to hold the weight and responsibility of being a man. Not saying this is all men, this is just what I see around me and have experienced.

I met a client for a coffee chat in the hopes of a job referral.

1) We corresponded on LinkedIn and he was eager to help - gave his number (no one else had done that and sticked to corresponding on LinkedIn even to meet up)

2) Was v nice and ask me what worked best for me in terms of going up to their office to grab a room or a cafe nearby. Also gave time flexibility so I could ‘sneak out of work’

3) when we met up, he first came off as a bit guarded/ uncomfortable but then loosened up and teased / making jokes / leaning towards me

4) when we were parting ways, caught him looking at me up & down a couple times while we had small talk and he was smiling at everything I said. Paced himself to match me while we were heading out of the cafe and before we parted ways he said to send over my resume and asked if I had his work email and quickly said it. We’d previously met with my boss in a work setting - I’ve been looped in on emails and said my boss has it and will find it

he then insisted I take his business card when I’d already started to head off. Kinda surprised his brought his biz card given I already met him and had his LI / number

3) I texted next day to thank him and said I’ll send over my resume in a couple days’ after polishing it - he was v quick to respond and said to send it whenever I’m done and he’d forward it to hr and check up on the team itself that I’m applying to. I emailed it and he responded quickly again to acknowledge. Another position opened up a couple weeks later and I asked if he could refer and again was quick to respond / look into it

4) I didn’t progress and he said he will keep a lookout for roles that are better suited. I then said to stay in touch

There’s no other touch point in between that is personal but the subtext makes me wonder if there is something more? The business card and the niceness of it all - am I overreading?

I bumped into a male friend on a night out. We’ve known each other for a couple of years and have a flirty relationship.

When I say drunk, I don’t mean stumbling everywhere and puking their guts up, he seemed pretty coherent and just more sociable if anything.

I, however, was a little more drunk. I admitted to him that I liked him as more than a friend. I asked him if he felt the same way. He kept saying “you’re a lovely person” and I eventually said “just answer the question”. He said yes and we kissed a bit.

Do you think he meant it? As I said, he didn’t seem overly drunk. Although he claims he “can’t remember” what happened.

Noticed a guy checking me out several times and dared to smile at him once from afar. From then on he seemed to develop a little crush on me but never tried to pursue me. Now years later I see him crushing on other female strangers but for them he tries to flex his possessions and try out new clothing styles and in general just to look his best (he doesn’t approach them though). Why didn’t he try for me? Is he embarrassed to like me? Does he consider me low hanging fruit?

I recently texted a bit with him and he at first acted like he didn’t know who I was (doubtful). Until I confessed my crush to him he was really friendly and responding immediately. After that he was acting quite arrogant and he denied he ever had any interest in me and was even slightly rude about it.

Guys, what do you like most? Would your expectations about a girl change based on whether she's cute or hot? Some of my male friends told me they rather marry a cute girl, and hook-up with hot girls. What do you think?
