I know girls do so in general, but I think most of the guys don't?

I always wash my hands.
Like people, hygiene!
For example, yeah, I get if you forget to put on your deodorant before a heavy workout in the gym.
But washing your hands!!!
Literally, we still have those kindergarten papers that say, "First, turn the tap on. Then, rinse your hands under the water. Reach for the soap and scrub, especially in between fingers! After, rinse them once more, grab a paper towel, and turn off the tap." in the washrooms.

I wash my hands every time I go to the bathroom, before and after eating, when I touch anything questionable (hand gel if I'm in an elevator, public bathroom, train, etc). Most of this is just out of habit. The 5 moments of hand hygiene have been drilled into me over and over.

I don't get why people wouldn't wash their hands after the toilet. You can get really sick from it, and you can contaminate other people too. Especially if you have e. coli bacteria...

ALWAYS. I feel disgusting if I don't, and I hate it when people don't wash their hands. One day I saw a man peeing. He shook his dick to get the last drop to fall, put it in his pants, and walked out of the bathroom without washing his hands. We're talking about a 50+ y/o man. I had to open the door of the bathroom with my pinky finger, I ain't touching that with my whole hand. Actually, I try to never touch anything in the bathroom with my whole hand.

There was a study that was done in 2013 I believe showing that 70% of americans don't wash their hands after using the bathroom one of the reasons why I don't shake an American's hand

Depends where I am and what I did. If I am in a public bathroom and I had to touch anything in their bathroom, and if they have soap, I wash my hands. If I was able to go in and only touch me? then no, I know where I have been.
I don't at home unless I think it necessary.
if I am in a decent bathroom with soap and paper towel (public) then I usually always do. Some public bathrooms, the sink and such is nastier then any other part.

I wash my hands a lot. I have an odd thing, I really dislike my hands to get dirty. Even if they have dust or something on them, I wash them as soon as I am able. Of course, using the restroom I wash them every time, no matter what I do in there.
