They both have their place.
Allopathic (modern) medicine and modern surgical techniques are great for catastrophic problems. But modern doctors treat symptoms, not the entire body. They don't encourage overall health. They use expensive machines and tests and they tend to push drugs more than anything else. Many pharmaceuticals have dangerous side effects. They'll tell you "Let's try this and see if it works." They rely on their drug rep more than on their own knowledge. And it's all about making money.
Holistic medicine has a lot to offer. The practice of it was virtually wiped out when the J. D. Rockefeller invested in allopathic medicine and took over all the medical schools with the goal of making money from pharmaceuticals.
I think nutrition and plant-based medicine is far superior to pharmaceuticals. But every effort is made to "discover" and claim property rights to plants that have been use by indigenous people for thousands of years, or to isolate and synthesize certain of their compounds. Again, it's all about money. And it's a form of colonialism.
Prescribing certain plant compounds usually isn't as beneficial as using the whole plant because plants contain many compounds that work together to increase effectiveness. But how can you make shit tons of money by prescribing herbs?
I lost all faith in the medical establishment during the so-called covid "pandemic". They gave credibility to the masking nonsense. Hospitals were forced to follow deadly protocols that ignored methods of early treatment. They used Remdesivir and ventilators instead of inexpensive, safe and effective treatments. They banned people from visiting their dying loved ones. They coerced employees and patients into taking the dangerous, experimental jabs without giving full disclosure. They not only let people die, they deliberately killed many.
They also lied about causes of death.
They did these things to protect their jobs and also to maximize profits.
I thank goodness that I'm healthy. I dread ever having to go to a hospital. But I admit that there are times when a hospital is the only alternative.
I've used hospitals a few times in my life and they were wonderful. But I think the industry (and that's what it is - an industry) has become more and more corrupted in recent years.
All have a place and can work hand in hand
Work in healthcare
The modern medicine is much more advanced and saves lives which cannot be saved with anything else. But it's also intrusive and full of side effects.
I still live only because of modern medicine and an incredible amount of luck.
But in most everyday cases, I go for natural medicine. It's less intrusive and keeps your body clean for cases when you need antibiotics, surgery, or chemotherapy.
Holistic/herbal but medicine is good for surgery. That's about it.

I absolutely hate modern medicine. They are forced upon us during the 70's by the Rothschild family and they removed traditional medicine completely and replaced it with their own invented chemical medicines we use today.
The problem with chemical Medicines is the fact that they are made in laboratory's and because there is a shit load of money being entangled with it... It's a recipe for corruption.
We can see the negative results of it with a lot of medicines having negative side effects which cause you to take other medicines with it to counteract that. Medicines who are sometimes difficult to get, extremely high inflation's on medicens which are unnecessary.
The modern pharmaceutical industry has some good medicines but the majority of them are terrible, insufficient and they cause harm to put body at the same time that you are being cured for your current illness.
It's nothing more then a legal harddrugs industry making billions of 💰💵
Almost all deceases aren currable with herbal medicines. Just study the traditional ways of healing that where common before the criminal change of the medicinal threatment options by the Rothschild's in the late 70's, which wiped the traditional ways of healinf completely out of existence. ( The Rothschild's are purposely trying to gain control over a lot of things in our society for their own gain of money and power )
Although there are also have been common treatments that were not well-supported by evidence, there is little to no evidence to support any so-called "alternative medicine." By definition, "alternative medicine" is either not know to work or is known not to work. If it were known to work, it would be called "medicine." Known not to work: Homeopathy, Reiki, crystals, magnets, copper bracelets, detoxifying fasts, among many others. Not known to work; Chiropracty, acupuncture, reflexology.
And yes, there are medical procedures and pharmaceuticals that are of doubtful benefit or eventually were shown to be of no benefit. Ultimately there is only chemicals (drugs) and surgery.
There’s some nuances. Some of it is hogwash. But vaccines are an example of useful like curing like. However, “boosting” an immune system via raw disease exposure is stupid.
I prefer modern medicine because it utilizes the most effective forms of treatment from all branches.
Neither.
I never put stock in the herbal stuff. People of those eras died young they are a bad example of good medicine
And the pandemic made me lose faith in modern medicine too because we got to see first hand just how much of it shaky science at best
Modern medicine seems to work after the fact of bodily disfunction.. Herbal and Holistic seems to be good for preventing bodily dysfunction.. Although a lot do work after the fact as well..
Modern medicine. I know it is not perfect but it has worked for me
Modern or allopathic medicine is my choice. The others will occasionally make you better, but more often they will do nothing helpful and will occasionally kill you. They exist to take your money mostly.
Only modern medicine has made the changes I wanted.
the modern one has kept me alive...
