I practically LIVED in the dentists chair in my first 2 decades!! Except for seeing one because of a pain or a broken tooth in the past couple years, I haven't been to one on a regular basis since the `80's.
I used to go every 6 months but my dentist retired and then I got a new job where I do not have much time off so I have not been in two years. I think my New Years resolution will be to find a new dentist.
Every 6 months (more-or-less).
And, he pronounces my entire oral cavity "healthy" every time he's done with my routine dental appointment.
Every 3 months for a regular check up.

What has it been now, 11 years since the last time? 🤔 I guess that falls under other.
Dentists are expensive and unpleasant experiences. You're nuts if you think there's any way I'd go more often than once a year, unless I had to.
As for me I visit the dentist every four months for cleanings & check ups.
