Brian Johnson a Visionary or Going Through a Midlife Crisis?

I've been reading a lot about Brian Johnson lately—the tech entrepreneur and billionaire who is now dedicating his life to reducing the speed of his aging, and even trying to reverse it to become biologically younger. He's got this whole regimen, from diet and exercise to cutting-edge technologies, and he documents it all under his "Blueprint" project. His goal is to achieve longevity escape velocity, essentially outpacing the aging process.

On one hand, I think it's pretty inspiring that someone is pushing the boundaries of what's possible with human health and longevity. It seems like he’s trying to pave the way for a future where aging isn’t such a fixed and inevitable process.
Maybe we all could benefit one day and stay youthful both in terms of how we look and feel.
I hope so.

On the other hand, part of me wonders if this is just an extreme reaction to hitting midlife. Is he trying to avoid the reality of getting older, or is there something deeper here—a genuine attempt to change the course of human aging?

What do you all think? Is Brian Johnson a visionary who’s ahead of his time, or is he just going through a really intense midlife crisis? Would love to hear your thoughts!
